Strike two was when I voted a little bit ago and did a straight democratic ticket. It’s like they say, I wasn’t voting for people, I was voting against Bush. Many people did it, but now that the Dems control both houses of Congress, what has it done for us? Nothing. They are probably just as incompetent as I felt the Republicans were, but at least the Reps got stuff done, even if I didn’t agree with much of it. So, long story short, never doing straight ticket again.

Strike three is going to be when Hillary gets the Democrat’s nomination. I’m not voting for Hillary, which means I’m going to have to pick the Rep that I like the best. Problem there is that the one I like best probably isn’t going to get the nomination.

So where does that leave me? I’ll tell you: it leaves me with a bad taste in my mouth about voting. I mean I can’t get it right. Vote for the better person and not only do they lose but the worst of the three choices gets in. Have a make-up vote to show my disapproval and now I disapprove more because it just means our government had it’s balls cut off and the president is left unchecked. Now I’m going to be forced to vote for the worst person just so a person who can’t make up her mind on what she believes every other day won’t get in.

This is probably going to be my last vote. Until they go by popular vote and do away with this ridiculous, outdated Electoral College, I’m done. Fuck em. I’m moving to Canada anyway.

Okay so my thoughts and again they are just thoughts..I am up in the air about ID and God so really don’t have any insight on that. I am the type that needs proof and ID makes more sense than the God theory but in actuality I believe that people need to believe in something greater. And that when we pass we go to a better place that is GRAND and the thought of God is more appeasing than the ID theory cause if the ID theory is how it happened what happens to us after life is not as great. So I believe that we need the “thought” of moving on to a better place to make the transition easier whether it is fact or not.

So the thing about the schools is kind of a older generation vs a new generation. Granted the newer generation probably doesn’t vote as they should vs the older generation cause of course that was something they fought for and look at voting being a very important thing and understand the consequences of not voting. As the younger generation looks at it as more of work than a right that was fought for and it is something that could effect their future. So if it is a voting issue I think God will be brought back into the schools cause most older folks believe in God and I look at it as the “Santa” issue meaning Christmas is really suppose to be about the birth of Christ…well here they turn it into if you are “good” all year Santa will bring you gifts. If you think about it when you go into a church most people even “bad” people change and show some respect if not for each other but for “God”. So the thought of having God in schools may change a kids thought of doing something that they would consider irreversible to where they will burn eternally. Just like the Santa theory if you are good you get gifts….if you are good in God’s eyes you go to heaven. Again is something you can not see nor prove so the mental part is the key. It is what you can make the person believe and some of us just need to know that there is something out there better than what is going on now and when we pass that our existence has been for naught and we are rewarded for all the good things we have done by living forever in a glorious paradise.

I’m afraid that at some point The Girl’s folks are gonna read my stuff and be like “He’s a freak.” That’s all that meant.
